A Day of Wolves, Murlocs, and New Strikes

I woke in Elwynn with my quiver lighter and my boots itching for the road. The morning began with the clink of pick and pan — I learned Mining today, and the feel of ore under my hands is its own kind of music. It set the tone: hands busy, senses sharp. Before noon I was running between errands and danger, answering calls from all across the forest.

By afternoon I’d chased down murlocs at Stone Cairn Lake and cleared the wolves and bears troubling the Eastvale woods — a satisfying chorus of twang and thud that left the logging camp safer. I delivered an invisibility tonic for The Escape and followed the threads that led me to discover Rolf’s fate; those two medallions felt heavier than they looked when I handed them to Guard Thomas. Sara Timberlain fashioned my new cloth-and-leather armor, and I’ll admit it: when I felt the stitch, I felt the change — and then I cheered aloud because, by evening’s light, I had reached level 11.

There’s more to do. I accepted tasks that point west to Westfall and deeper into the woods — a manhunt, bounties, and a whisper of the Jasperlode Mine’s secrets already explored. My crossbow is oiled, my new armor fits snug, and the road hums with tomorrow’s work; I’ll be ready.
