First Blood on Exile's Reach

The first thing I noticed about Exile's Reach was how quiet the island feels before the storm of battle—like the land itself is holding its breath. I carved my name into that hush today with a handful of new powers: Corruption, Soul Shards, Summon Imp, Unending Resolve, Fear, and Curse of Weakness. There is a small, wicked joy in feeling those forces answer when I call; today I celebrated hitting level 6 with a grin and a curse—level 6 at last, and the shadows feel a touch closer to me.

I began by hauling supplies back from wreckage and driving off greedy murlocs to reclaim what belonged to the survivors. Won’sa was near death from hunger; I butchered game and cooked it over the flames until she could speak, and her warning sent us after the quilboar. Sparring drills sharpened my focus—Enhanced Combat Tactics was more than noise—and then the real ugliness: a shadow ritual in the quilboar den. Grek’og fell, and the survivor was freed. I even rode a goblin contraption called the Choppy Booster Mk. 5 and helped test the Re-Sizer and Re-Deather—ingenious mayhem, but not something I’d hand the keys to lightly.

Now I’m stocking up for whatever the island throws next. I can feel the imp’s cackle in my pocket and the hunger of shadow in my bones; Exile’s Reach is only getting started, and so am I.
